The env zero CLI has been rebuilt as a single binary, replacing the old Node package @env0/cli v1.x. Install it with Homebrew or npm, and get JSON output and stable exit codes designed for scripts, CI pipelines, and AI agents alike.

What’s new

  • One binary, install anywhere: brew install env0/tap/env0 or npm install -g @env0/cli@2, plus a migration guide if you’re coming from the old CLI.
  • Manage projects from the terminal: create and archive projects with env0 project create and env0 project archive.
  • Read-only sign-in: sign in to a read-only session, so a teammate or an AI agent can look around without being able to change anything.
  • Live deployment logs: stream logs as they happen with env0 deployment logs <id> --follow.

Built for AI agents

The CLI ships env0 skill install, which teaches your coding agent (Claude Code by default, or Cursor, Codex, and Copilot with --agent) how to use it, no explaining required. Pair that with env0 context for one-call diagnosis, and an agent can inspect and troubleshoot environments on its own. Learn more: env zero CLI
